Electronics Repair
We repair what others give up on. Specialised in legacy electronics without schematics – from agricultural machinery to vintage HiFi.
Experience over schematics.
Many devices fail because no technician will work on them without a schematic – and because the manufacturer has long since discontinued support. We have specialised in exactly these cases: systematic fault diagnosis through measurement and long-standing experience with analogue and early digital electronics. This often makes repairs possible where others no longer offer them.
Our Repair Areas
Agricultural Machinery
Tractors, combine harvesters, harvesting equipment – control electronics of older models are often long discontinued. We analyse faults directly on the PCB, independent of manufacturer support.
Industrial Controls
PLC systems, frequency converters, machine controls – failed industrial electronics can shut down entire production lines. We repair even when spare parts are no longer available.
Forestry Machinery
Harvesters, forwarders, skidders – the on-board electronics of forestry equipment are tough, but not indestructible. We diagnose and repair control modules and sensor systems.
HiFi Electronics
Amplifiers, receivers, tuners from the golden age of HiFi – equipment from Marantz, Pioneer, Technics, Sansui and others. We bring vintage HiFi back to life.
Why Hammaräng?
No Schematics Needed
No schematics or documentation available? Through systematic fault-finding and measurement technology, we locate the defect – often even without any reference material.
Hard-to-Source Components
We source hard-to-find components and can replace analogue ICs with compatible types when original parts are no longer available.
Honest Cost Assessment
If a repair is not economically viable, we say so clearly. You always receive a quote before any repair charges are incurred.
What we do not do
We do not carry out any work that legally requires a licensed electrician. This includes mains-voltage installation work and all tasks that must be performed by authorised electricians under Swedish electrical installation regulations. Our services are limited to electronics up to 48 V SELV – power supply electronics up to 230 V (e.g. switched-mode power supplies) are a technical exception. Devices that require a 400 V test voltage are generally not accepted. We do not offer on-site service. Defective devices are normally sent to us by post or parcel carrier; collection within the local area is only possible in exceptional cases.
